Finally got up to Mass MOCA to see Nick Cave's Until, a remarkable installation, both potent and full of hope. The museum is a wonderful place to wander through, full of small pleasures and unexpected spaces. Walking into the huge hall with Cave's Until the initial impulse is a kind of awe. The meaning of the title -- from the phrase "innocent until proven guilty" -- becomes more apparent as you focus and begin to notice details like targets and bullets within the piece. Also loved seeing Sol Lewitt's early wall drawings, and Elizabeth King's sculpture and video installation exploring 'Intimate immensity."
